The Wittliff is excited to announce that you will soon be able to hear in-depth interviews with your favorite Wittliff authors, thanks to a new partnership with “Bookmarked,” the weekly radio program hosted by Priscilla Leder on San Marcos radio station KZSM.
“Bookmarked” presents a lively literary discussion led by Leder, who is a Distinguished Professor Emerita of English at Texas State University. She recently invited The Wittliff’s literary curator, Steve Davis, to join her as a monthly co-host on “Bookmarked.”
“Priscilla’s program is so engaging and she has covered so many important books and writers on ‘Bookmarked,’” says Davis. “We’re delighted that she’s giving The Wittliff a voice on her show and is inviting us to bring in writers associated with our collections.”
“Bookmarked” is livestreamed every Tuesday from 4-6pm on KZSM. Upcoming Wittliff-themed shows are already being set: A discussion on John Graves’ Goodbye to a River (February 6), a conversation with Joe Nick Patoski on his new cultural history of Austin, From Austin to ATX (February 26), and an interview with Ann Weisgarber about her new novel, The Promise (March 26.)
More authors will be scheduled in the months ahead, so check out the “Bookmarked” page at https://www.facebook.com/BookmarkedSanMarcos/ or visit KZSM at http://kzsm.org/.
